Here’s why that inconvenient tear leakage at work (that threatens everything you’ve worked so hard for) is good news for you

I know it’s also really s**t!

Inconvenient tear leakage is a terrible thing to have to cope with.

I fought it really hard.

Because it mattered to me that I retained my professional standing at work

Because I’m a private person and didn’t wish to discuss my personal issues with all and sundry

Because I prided myself on coping well with all the wonderful things I’d managed to achieve and bring into my life

I didn’t want to lose what I’d worked so hard for

And I thought it was a weakness

And I thought other people would see it as a weakness

Some might have judged me 

Some unhelpful people criticized me for showing emotions (even when I could no longer control them - yep, that’s how much stress I put myself under!)

Now I know that inconvenient tear leakage is a really helpful sign

BECAUSE IT’S SO DAM INCONVENIENT!

Let’s not kid ourselves here

We all know that crying in a meeting at work is not going to help you keep and progress yourself successfully

And because it suddenly becomes really important to do something about those tears that those tears become a gift

SHOULD YOU WISH TO ACCEPT THEM AS THE COURSE CORRECTION THEY CAN BE

The choice is yours

Inconvenient tear leakage is good news for you if you choose to see them as just that

Because they were for me and are for my clients

If you’re the kind of person who doesn’t want to lose the success (business or corporate) you've worked so hard for then inconvenient tear leakage is a strong wake-up call that 

IT’S TIME TO DO THINGS DIFFERENTLY

It’s time to learn to live your life, your way

To gently, but firmly rebel against the nonsense that a successful life requires pushing yourself to the limits - pushing yourself so hard to keep the stress under control that tears surprise you by leaking out at the worst possible times.
